Musica Viva welcomes the Martinu String Quartet from Prague, Czech Republic for the first time. Beethoven String Quartet, op. 18, no. 1, Schulhoff 'Five Pieces,' Dvorak String Quartet in F Major, op. 96 ('American').

The audience is cordially invited to a reception in the lobby of the Lyric Theatre following the concert.
